Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

How can this very small detail, Adam's location, ever be unknown to an all-knowing God?
To me He knew where he was. He was just reminding him, "I placed you here. Where did you go?"
Wherever God placed you, He expects you to be who you are - His child. Act like one. Let His instructions guide you and you will never go wrong.
